Join this free workshop designed for 10–30 participants from German and international cultural initiatives who want to explore impact funding and alternative financing models beyond traditional government cultural subsidies.

Led by Arthur Steiner, an expert with years of experience in philanthropy and fundraising, this session will unpack practical strategies for accessing and securing financial resources. You’ll also have the opportunity to exchange insights and experiences with peers from across the cultural sector.

Arthur Steiner, researcher and art curator and co-founder of New Silk Roads collaborates with artists, activists, funders, collectors and impact investors who advance unconventional solutions for the most urgent global challenges. His recent research includes studies on alternative funding models for contemporary culture and social engagement for DOEN and UNESCO. He is currently involved in various initiatives at the crossroads of culture, technology, and social change across Europe, the West Asia and North Africa and has worked with various organizations such as Hivos, CLUA, Philea and the Berggruen Institute.
